  Rainbow Bridge Jewelers is delighted to host Gekkeikan Sake for Spirits, Brews & Bites this Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026 in Historic Folsom, California. This event sells out, so be sure  to get your tickets ASAP.  Jim and I really enjoyed the sake tasting at Gekkeikan. Their tasting room, elegantly modern, looks out over a beautifull Japanese garden, complete with a tori gate, koi pond, and waterfall. A peaceful oasis in the middle of a light industrial area of Folsom, California. One google reveiwer said it best: "The Zen mothership of Japanese delights in the heart of Folsom. No crowds. Easy parking. Serene atmosphere. Kind, helpful servers. Cherry blossoms in the Japanese garden. Delicious Sake tasting. I chose the Black & Gold. Delightful experience." On Saturday, Ken Yee will first pour Zipang, a sparkling sake. Pair this light and refreshing brew with a lemon chiffon bite from Snooks Candies on Sutter Street. Take a sip. Take a bite. Take another sip. Just right! Next, he will pour the Black &  Gold, a complex sake that pairs with traditional Japanese rice crackers, sweet with a touch of spice, the perfect compliment to this award winning brew.
